This work started with finding an outstandingly beautiful and radiant Labradorite stone at Dave’s Rock Emporium. Some Inuit stories say that the Labradorite stone gave birth to the Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights.

Vitreous glass tiles make up the sky and northern lights patterns. Smalti defines the narrow horizon lines and Alabaster stone is used to reference the snow and ice landscape. Swarovski diamond lend stars to the dark sky.
